MY PORTFOLIO

In September 2022, I was hired to the staff of Radio DePaul Sports. Little did I know that by the end of my freshman year, I would have won Broadcaster of the Year and Show of the Year for my weekly radio show "NBA Tomorrow."

After that successful start, I became the program director for the station, had another great year broadcasting DePaul basketball, softball and soccer, and went into the summer co-facilitating a rebranding of the station.

Now, I broadcast from the studio, out in the field of Chicago, and on the court of DePaul Prep high school basketball.

The 2023-24 school year was my first as sports editor of The DePaulia. From creating a "Basketball Issue" that won first place at the Illinois College Press Association awards for Special Supplement to covering the Indy 500 in Speedway, reporting has been an amazing experience.

Here, you can read copy from columns, breaking news reports and features from across my journalism career, both in news and sports.

I am driven by my love for storytelling, athletes being some of the very best examples of human capability. Athletes inspire so many people, and it is an honor to tell their stories that lead and influence others.

This section includes episodes from three different podcasts I co-produced, my very best shots from photographing DePaul sports and social media content from my internship at Cheers Pickleball.

Creating content in different ways is key in today's society. Showcasing my skills also means showing how robust and adaptable my content can be, and these supplements have taught me so much about the many avenues I can take to excel at my craft.
